Beth Fujinuma

Student Liaison

Beth grew up in Illinois, USA where she helped start XA on her university campus while training to be a teacher. After moving to Wisconsin, USA she met her husband Ryosuke and she later served on staff with XA in Madison, Wisconsin before they moved to Minnesota, USA and worked primarily with Japanese students. Ryosuke’s university job then took them to Brisbane, Australia where Beth continued working with university students. They now live at ICU here in Tokyo where Ryo teaches environmental science and Beth volunteers with XA and tutors English. Their son Kazuo is a creative teenager.

Favorite food: nectarines (an American fruit similar to a peach)

 

Hobbies: hanging out with students and making greeting cards

 

Favorite scripture: “Whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:17
